Expanded partner benefits are now available: What’s new in February 2026

Microsoft just refreshed partner benefits for FY26.

If you’re a Microsoft partner, this isn’t just a licensing update. It’s a growth lever – if you use it properly.

From 13 February 2026, expanded benefits are live across Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program packages and selected Solutions Partner designations. The refresh includes:

  • Increased Azure credits
  • Expanded Copilot benefits (including Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Studio)
  • Broader security coverage (Defender, Entra, Intune)
  • And the launch of Partner Marketing Center Pro, replacing GTM Toolbox

Let’s talk about what actually matters.

The real shift: Microsoft is doubling down on AI + Security

Look at the benefit mix, and it’s obvious. Microsoft wants partners leading with:

  • Copilot adoption
  • Security uplift
  • AI-ready cloud foundations

That’s the 2026 playbook.

If your campaigns aren’t aligned to those themes, you’re fighting the current.

Azure credits now pooled (which is actually useful)

Credits are now delivered at an organisational level in Partner Center. Translation: less waste, more usable demo and POC capacity.

If you tie those credits to real customer opportunities, they become pipeline fuel — not idle value.

The biggest operational change: Partner Marketing Center Pro

PMC Pro launches on 13 February 2026 and replaces GTM Toolbox. It’s positioned as an AI-powered campaign hub with:

  • Asset customisation
  • Built-in translation
  • Campaign reporting
  • AI assistance

It’s hosted as a third-party app and may require Global Admin consent.

Here’s the opportunity:

Instead of stitching together assets, localisation, and reporting manually, you can launch more campaigns faster, without hiring more people. That’s the real upside.

Two things partners get wrong

  1. They don’t confirm entitlements.
Some benefits are top-ups tied to active designations. They expire with membership. Not everything appears instantly.
  2. They don’t assign marketing contacts in Partner Center.
No contact = no activation email = stalled rollout.

This stuff sounds small. It isn’t.

What you should do next

Next 30 days:

  • Confirm what benefits are actually active.
  • Activate PMC Pro properly.
  • Align campaigns to Copilot + security.
  • Update your website proof (only claim what you qualify for)

Next 90 days:

  • Turn internal-use rights into packaged offers.
  • Track Copilot and security attach rates.
  • Review whether benefits are driving the pipeline before renewal.
